Good shot.

The only thing that makes it loose the realism is the fact of lighting. Example : Look at the barrels on the bottom left. The light seems to come from the upper right.. but look at all the objects on the right, the lighting seems to be coming from a direction that doesn't show light. Then the glass shows light that also doesn't exist. I can see at the very top it looks like light "could" be coming from there, but it doesn't match up with the directions of the shadows / light on all the objects. The picture too shows the lighting coming from somewhere that doesn't show it to be actually there. Realism = correct lighting.

Other then that, I love your work here. Keep it up and I look forward to more.

Well! you may be right. The scene was set up with one local light source, in the middle of the room. However truespace is not like high-end progs, like 3ds Max, its render engine is seriously lacking, I prefer Blender to be honest.

Yea, I use google sketchup for my models.. then I import them in with Cinema 4D. I can model in C4D.. but I can do it so much easier and faster making the foundation model in Sketchup, then add the details in C4D.

As for truespace, I have not used that program in years. I might still have the last copy that was made somewhere on my computer. Including the server. Talk about memories.. lol Either way, yes I can understand now about the lighting problems. TS never did have correct lighting. There are plugins I have seen and read about. But I never got them. Ambient Occlusion is another plugin some have been experimenting with for TS. But again, personally, I would stick with Blender or some other proggy for your 3D. Your picture would be awesome re-rendered with blender or another proggy.

I am going to stick with Blender, that pic was done a couple of years ago. I do use Ts7 for modelling, as I find that easier than in Blender.
