As a fan of space art and for the fact I'm trying to master it myself, this is astonishing. You said the background was created by you and at first I thought you grabbed a Vista Aurora Desktop Background and drilled a few white holes around. Mistaken greatly! I love the light in the top right hand corner of this picture, thought it was a lens flare duplicated and blended into divide, sometimes it gives the same effect on photoshop. Love it.
I haven't touched upon the Space Array yet. It looks big, let's say that, sad thing is and this is a personal preference, but it's covering the planet a little too much and ass some artists do, they try to proportion the background and main elements of the picture together. But argued that; you could just be wanting to make the array the center of attention, and that's what you've done.
The use of colouring in this picture, space wise, I like. Personally I go for a black or very dark, subtle background to bring out my main objects (Planets for this instance). yet you've taken the step up and managed to blend in the space along with the Array, something which I need skills on.
I bet this took time to make? Hopefully you will get the views you deserve, because this is a job well done
